The Date & Time section allows you to control the display of the current date and time in your website’s header. You can choose whether to show or hide the date and time, as well as select the format source used for displaying them.
How to Access
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to Appearance → Customize.
- Open the Header Options panel.
- Click Date & Time.
The Customizer provides a live preview, allowing you to see your changes before publishing them.
Available Options
- Hide / Show Date – Enable or disable the current date displayed in the header.
- Hide / Show Time – Enable or disable the current time displayed in the header.
- Date / Time in Header Display Type – Choose how the date and time format is applied.
- Theme Default Setting – Uses the date and time format provided by the Newsup theme.
- From WordPress Setting – Uses the date and time format configured in Settings → General within your WordPress Dashboard.
After making your changes, click Publish to save and apply the settings.
