The Site Identity section allows you to manage your website’s basic branding. From here, you can upload your site logo, set the site title and tagline, and add a site icon (favicon). These settings help personalize your website and are displayed across various parts of your site.
How to Access
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- From the left-hand menu, navigate to Appearance → Customize.
- Once the WordPress Customizer opens, click the Global panel.
- Select Site Identity to access the branding settings.
You can use the live preview on the right side of the Customizer to see your changes before publishing them.
Available Options
- Logo – Upload or replace the logo displayed in your website’s header.
- Site Title – Enter the name of your website.
- Tagline – Add a short description or slogan for your website.
- Header Text Color – Change the color of the Site Title and Tagline.
- Display Site Title – Show or hide the Site Title in the header.
- Display Tagline – Show or hide the Tagline in the header.
- Site Title Size – Adjust the font size of the Site Title.
- Display Center Site Title and Tagline – Center-align the Site Title and Tagline within the header.
- Site Icon – Upload a favicon that appears in browser tabs, bookmarks, and mobile devices.
After making your changes, click Publish to save and apply the settings.
