The Post Meta section allows you to control which post metadata is displayed on your website. You can choose to show the publication date, author name, comments, or hide specific meta information to match your preferred blog layout.
How to Access
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to Appearance → Customize.
- Open the Global panel.
- Click Post Meta.
The Customizer provides a live preview, allowing you to see your changes before publishing them.
Available Options
- Date and Author – Choose which post information is displayed.
- Show Date and Author – Displays both the post publication date and author name.
- Show Date Only – Displays only the publication date.
- Show Author Only – Displays only the author name.
- Hide All – Hides both the publication date and author information.
- Hide/Show Comments – Enable or disable the display of the post comments count throughout the theme.
After making your changes, click Publish to save and apply the settings.
