Installing Newsup

There are two ways to install the Newsup theme on your WordPress website:

• Install from the WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)
• Install via FTP

Install via WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)

This is the easiest and recommended method for most users.

Before You Begin

Download the Newsup theme package from your Themeansar account. Locate the newsup.zip file and keep it ready. Do not extract the ZIP file before uploading.

Installation Steps

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Appearance → Themes.
3. Click Add New, then select Upload Theme.
4. Click Choose File and select the newsup.zip file from your computer.
5. Click Install Now and wait for the installation to complete.
6. Once installed, click Activate to make Newsup your active theme.

Your Newsup theme is now installed and ready to use.

Install via FTP

Use this method if you prefer installing themes manually or if your hosting provider requires FTP uploads.

Before You Begin

Download the Newsup theme package and extract the ZIP file on your computer. Inside the extracted files, locate the newsup theme folder.

Installation Steps

1. Connect to your website using an FTP client such as FileZilla.
2. Navigate to the /wp-content/themes/ directory.
3. Upload the extracted newsup folder to the themes directory.
4. After the upload is complete, log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
5. Go to Appearance → Themes.
6. Locate Newsup and click Activate.

The theme is now installed and ready to use.

Updating Newsup

Keeping your theme up to date ensures you receive the latest features, improvements, and security updates.

Manual Update

Before updating, it is recommended to create a complete backup of your website.

1. Download the latest version of the Newsup theme from your Themeansar account.
2. Locate the newsup.zip file in the downloaded package.
3. In your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance → Themes and temporarily activate another theme (such as a default WordPress theme).
4. Remove the old version of Newsup.
5. Click Add New → Upload Theme.
6. Upload the latest newsup.zip file.
7. Click Install Now, then Activate the updated version.

Your website will now be running the latest version of Newsup.
