Step 1 : Add Portfolio Post First
Go To add a Portfolio /Project on the Homepage, you must go to Portfolio Custom post type and add portfolio, fill the required field and save CPT,
Step2 : To Show On Homepage
Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage section settings > Portfolio Settings and select Portfolio Category as you show on Homepage section
